Leadership 

 John became pastor at Sooner in January of 2017.  He began in vocational ministry in 2000, serving as a Youth Pastor and later as a Pastor in Oklahoma.  Additionally, he taught and coached basketball at an Oklahoma City high school for a decade.  John and his wife, Sarah, have been married since 1999, and they have three school-aged children.

Lee Hinson began his ministry at Sooner in June of 2021 as the interim worship leader.  In July 2022 he joined the staff as Associate Pastor with a focus on worship and education. Dr. Hinson taught in higher education for over two decades and has been involved in music ministry leadership for over 45 years. Lee and his wife Jan have been married since 1978, have two grown children and six grandchildren.
